  • Definition A charge imposed on a facility which causes
    traffic congestion in a city with a population
    over 100,000 people
  • Criteria for selection Total floor area x Unit charge (per 1 ㎡) x
    traffic inducement coefficient
  • Target for charge - A facility with more than 1,000㎡ of total
      floor area
    - Exempted for residential buildings
Programs of Seoul Metropolitan City to Reduce Traffic Volume
  • Benefit of reduction of congestion charge for a facility which performs the traffic volume reduction program(s)
  • There are 11 programs in total being implemented for the reduction of traffic voulme, and several benefits can be given at the same time for participation in several programs.
  • Participation in the programs is confirmed by evidential materials, actual inspection of the person in charge, etc.
